Mains of Fintry Pipe Band

The world famous Mains of Fintry Pipe Band was founded in 1972 and has played at large events all over the world,
including the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, performed for Pope Benedict XVI in
Princes Street, Edinburgh in 2010, the RICOH Women's British Open at Carnoustie in July 2011 and most recently
was invited to take part in the Independence Day Parade in Gdynia, Poland on 11th November, 2011.
